Shipping Update
over 2 years ago – Thu, Jan 20, 2022 at 01:24:56 AM

Hey,

A few people have reached out about orders so I thought it'd be a good idea to catch everyone up.

Most orders have been shipped now and should be in people's hands already (though we think the US may still be winging its way over as everyone's packages have been taking ages to get out that way).

There are a handful of people who did the Tooth & Claw Backerkit after we'd printed off labels and we'll get them sorted as soon as we deal with the last box of orders which are the people who backed for the Blackwell Bundle and Tooth & Claw. Turns out we needed bigger envelopes but we've got them now so unless there's an issue with stock, we should have them packed up tomorrow and heading out this weekend.

As for Backerkit still pinging people, we'll be closing it after we get these orders out which should stop it.

Thanks and sorry for the wait,

Shanice

Delays and Mini-zines
over 2 years ago – Thu, Dec 09, 2021 at 09:22:29 PM

Hey everyone,

Thanks to some problems with the printing company the printing got delayed and then further delayed because we entered the festive season. Annoyingly, we currently don't have an estimated delivery date but we've emailed to ask and will let you know once we get an answer or the books arrive.

The other bit of bad news is that we haven't been able to find anywhere that can print the mini-zines properly without either putting us way over budget or looking just awful so we're going to have to leave those as just digital offerings. We'll put together a printer-friendly version so you can print them at home though.

For the few people who bought extra mini-zines on Backerkit, we'll make sure you're refunded for them.

Thanks for the patience :)

PDFS and Print Progress
over 2 years ago – Tue, Nov 23, 2021 at 09:10:04 AM

Hey everyone,

We've just put the finishing touches on the mini-zines and sent off the PDFS to you all via Backerkit. If you've filled out both Tooth & Claw and Apothecaria's backerkit, you'll probably get a double email, feel free to ignore one.

In the .zip file you'll find:

Tooth & Claw, Beasts of the Sea, The Entomological Pocket Guide, and The Dungeon Guide :)

Hope you enjoy!

As for the printed copies, Mixam have recommended that we put lamination on the cover to protect it which means they're going to take a few more days to do that and get it shipped. Hopefully we'll be shipping by the start of next week but I'll post another update when that's more concrete.

Until then, enjoy the PDFS and have a great week.

Progress? Progress!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Nov 16, 2021 at 08:37:02 PM

Hey everyone, just a quick update to say that the print proofs arrived on Saturday and while Tooth & Claw came through perfectly, Beasts of the Sea has a few issues with images that flow across the pages. We've asked for advice on how to prevent that but apparently it all comes down to luck. We've made the few changes they recommended and are giving the printer a day or two to respond to our questions just to make sure it comes out as well as it can.

The current estimate for delivery is the 22nd but that'll probably bump up a couple of days.

On the Backerkit side of things, cards have been charged and addresses are going to be locked at the end of this week so if you need to change it, you've still got a couple of days.

And Now We Wait!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Nov 11, 2021 at 03:38:41 AM

I've ordered a test print of both the zines which should, postal service notwithstanding, arrive on Friday. If everything prints okay and the layout doesn't get ruined once it hits real paper, then I'll put in the order for the full run which should take another week or so.

In other words, we're so close to shipping I can taste the stamp glue!

On the Backerkit side of things, we'll be charging cards and locking addresses on Friday then we'll go through and email anyone who needs to fill out a survey and hasn't.
